Next steps after your application is submitted include an informational interview and submission of your Accelerator proposal. If your application is accepted, congratulations! You will have the opportunity become a cohort of an upcoming THNK Creative Leadership Program!

We are looking for participants who are already leaders – with real experience leading teams on creation and innovation. You should have an affinity with technology, business and society and culture, and expertise in at least one of these fields. Most importantly, you need to have a truly explorative mind and be driven by a strong personal mission. In general, this means you would have at least 8 years working experience.

Of course! We are very eager to work with participants from around the world, so everyone can benefit from different perspectives and experiences.

Yes, all potential candidates may request sponsorship from their company. In fact, we recommended this – as your employer will be involved in THNK, especially during the Accelerator. Need help approaching your boss? Just contact admissions@thnk.org.

Payment for the THNK Creative Leadership Program must be made on or before the due date specified on your invoice. If payment is not made on time, you may be denied access to the program. More information can be found in THNK’s general terms and conditions here: General Terms & Conditions.

The size of each group differ in each location. After applying for the program, your global program advisor will connect you to your potential classmates.

The THNK Creative Leadership Program is designed to allow you to continue working while following the program. You will need to be at the THNK Home for four week-long modules, which often include weekends to help limit the amount of time you need to be away from work.

Four separate week-long on-campus modules take place over the six month period. After applying for the program, our global program advisors will provide you with a detailed description what to expect.

No, THNK is not accredited – and we did that on purpose! Accreditation often leads to standardization, and THNK is anything but standard. To ensure the highest possible quality, we carefully (and personally) select all participants as well as our business and educational partners.

Our Amsterdam and Vancouver locations offer two 6 month part-time programs per year. Lisbon currently offers one per year. While the structure of the programs will be similar, the content and challenges offered will certainly differ. You can find the dates of the upcoming programs here.

You can view our current program overview here.

Feel free to wear casual clothes, including jeans and sneakers. Though you may want to bring a suit or a nice dress for the occasional official dinner or event.

Pack as if you were going on a casual business trip – one suit (or nice dress) should be enough. Bring comfortable clothing and shoes. It can be quite wet and windy in Holland – a windbreaker or other type of waterproof jacket and an umbrella will come in handy. And don’t forget your laptop or tablet, you will need it for the program.

After being accepted onto the program, you will receive a list of recommended accommodations close to the THNK Homes. We are also more than happy to assist you finding and booking a place to stay, but most past participants enjoy selecting their own accommodation.

Once you are accepted to the program, we will ask you to highlight any special requirements you may need throughout your visit.

The THNK Creative Leadership Program follows an intensive itinerary to maximize your experience whilst at your chosen THNK location. Although each program includes off-campus trips, you will have minimal spare time for sightseeing. If you would like to get to know Amsterdam, Vancouver or Lisbon better, we recommend arriving a few days early (or staying longer). THNK staff and faculty are always more than happy to share recommendations to ensure you get the most out of every visit.
