Alex is a brand strategist and creative advisor. He combines his social, empathic, lateral and strategic thinking skills to create clarity and come up with solutions for variety of business and communications challenges organisations face today.

 

Raised by the Baltic Sea in Lithuania, refined across Europe and having lived in Moscow in recent years, Alex never stops developing his global perspective. He has spent last decade in creative industries working for global and regional strategy consultancies and integrated communications agencies like BrandScience, OMD, Proximity, Heraldist & Wondermarks and BBDO Worldwide.

 

After receiving a honours degree with distinction in Integrated Marketing Communications from the International People’s Friendship University of Russia, Alex has completed series of qualification-based trainings at The Account Planning Group (APG) in London and holds a Design Thinking & Innovation postgraduate certification from British Higher School of Art & Design.

 

Alex’s work is all about holistic brand development and innovation for organisations across a number of sectors including FMCG, Automotive, Banking & Finance, DIY & Crafts, Healthcare & Pharma, Telecom, NGOs and Sports. Over the course of his career, he has worked to deliver projects that support positive outcomes for customers and communities around brands like Fazer, BioFoodLab, Honda, Subaru, QIWI Group, IKEA, Teva Pharmaceuticals, Tele2, ModulBank, Youth Time, FC Spartak Moscow.

 

Alex has been a strategic advisor for a number of technological start-up companies like whatagraph.com and interactio.io as well as visiting speaker and curator within the field of Brand Strategy Management & Creative Leadership at British Higher School of Art & Design. He gives keynote presentations and workshops at global and regional educational institutions and industry events like ESOMAR, Stockholm Digital Dimensions, Moscow International Advertising Festival Red Apple, The Rhodes Forum.

 

Driven by natural curiosity, Alex has co-founded Digital Vocabulary, an award-winning initiative aimed to educate and empower modern digital citizens. It’s an ongoing pro bono study of human relations with digital media and technology.
