Class 5 Participant Wempy Dyocta Koto on his THNK future

Class 5 Participant Wempy Dyocta Koto on his THNK future

We know that each participant’s story is extraordinary, so we are excited to meet them in person to hear about their ambitious projects, remarkable professional journeys, and expectations of THNK. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Class 5’s enthusiasm by presenting Wempy Dyocta Koto to you.

Question: What does your vision of the future look like? And how will the THNK Creative Leadership program accelerate this vision?

I have been in the creative industry for over 15 years, working on global advertising campaigns and management consultancy assignments for some of the world's most famous brands. My career has evolved, and I have evolved. Evolved enough to know how little I know about creativity, and how huge that term actually is. I have tunnel vision when trying to solve basic and complex problems. I have become a thinker of habit. There is a pattern to the way I think and how I deal with people, problems, processes and possibilities. I view the world through a lens which is holding me back from truly seeing, discovering, wondering, appreciating, and capitalising on all the opportunities and possibilities around me. THNK will force me to learn, relearn and unlearn. I am an optimist, entrepreneur and pursuer of the extraordinary, who has the benefit of age to affirm my strengths, weaknesses, passions and indifferences. I have failed and made poor life decisions, but today, my road leads to Amsterdam, where I aim to gain the tools, insights, expert guidance, support, network and inspiration to live a purposeful life." I want to walk away from THNK saying to myself "I wish I knew then what I know now", and build the right creative foundations for a new post-THNK Wempy.”

Please join us in welcoming Wempy to THNK Class 5.
