Introducing THNK on the PechaKucha stage
PechaKucha Vancouver, the now iconic speaking event, is celebrated for being one of the most popular cities in the event’s 700-city strong network. Five times a year, 1,300 of Vancouver’s finest pack the velvet-clad walls of the 70-year old Vogue theatre to be inspired and enlightened by the city’s change-makers. This made it an entirely fitting location for THNK Vancouver’s first outing. We had the chance to talk about our vision, give a glance at the unforgettable experience, and share some of incredible journeys of THNK participants.

We were in good company, with a night that oozed with creative intent and the potential of the city. The founder of Herschel Supply, Lyndon Cormack, architect, Alicia Medina Laddaga, founder and director of LOHA Vancouver, and the unforgettable Jonathan Tippett, who enthralled the audience with Prosthesis: the Anti-Robot his human meets machine vision of the future. Just a few of the night’s memorable line-up.
