mediaX/THNK Global Innovation Leadership Program at Stanford

Global Innovation Leadership Program by mediaX at Stanford University and THNK (February 17-20, 2014)

[emphasize-text]“In a world of increasing complexity and uncertainty, creativity is the most important leadership quality, according to CEOs. Creative leaders expect to make deeper business model changes to realize their strategies. To succeed, they take more calculated risks, find new ideas and keep innovating in how they lead and communicate.”, Global CEO Study by IBM, 2011[/emphasize-text]

The mediaX/THNK Global Innovation Leadership Program at Stanford is a program that fills a critical gap for innovation executives, entrepreneurs and change makers who are looking to take their organizations through break-through change. mediaX at Stanford University is a catalyst for industry and academic research partnerships on the impact of information and technology on society. The mediaX programs focus on how the relationship between people and technology can be enhanced, augmented and improved.

THNK, the Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership has a mission to accelerate and develop the next generation of creative leaders that will have deep societal impact on the world. THNK brings together curious and forward-thinking executives, thought leaders and organizations from across the world, in diverse industries and fields for a distinctive experiential learning experience in creative leadership.

In this program, participants will work with a unique combination of Stanford’s deep expertise in the human-technology intersection and THNK’s innovation leadership facilitators and deploy THNK’s Creation Flow and the THNK’s Creative Leadership Model to address a “wicked” societal challenge – what is needed to give Bay Area residents the fastest, cheapest, cleanest and smoothest mobility options through the use of smart tech? The program will be hands-on and experiential and give participants both a deeper understanding of mobility issues in the Bay Area (and beyond) as well as practical tools that they can use to stimulate innovation in their own organizations. For an example tool, see: reframe.thnk.org.

Participants will work in small teams and engage in fully experiential learning, with the interaction of global thought leaders from Stanford University and leadership facilitation from THNK Faculty: Rajiv Ball, Berend-Jan Hilberts and Robert Wolfe.

The cost of this program is $7,985 per individual participant. Since learning can be better with people you know, you can now bring additional Colleagues for ½ PRICE (1 full price paid participant can bring up to 2 additional people). This fee includes all on-site expenses (materials, food and beverages), but excludes travel to/from Stanford and accommodations. Register Now for this great event. Questions?
