THNK, the Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership, has selected the area of the former Amsterdam Gasworks as the permanent residence (THNK Home) for the new international school.
After a comprehensive market scan to find the most suitable location, in the end it was clear that the former offices of the Amsterdam District Council were best suited for THNK’s needs. The creative and innovative character of the area surrounding the Westergasfabriek (Wester Gas Works) were decisive, in combination with the explicit wish to make use of high quality existing vacant office spaces.
“The Westergasfabriek and THNK are a logical match”, says Mark de Kruijk, director of Westergasfabriek: “We are very happy that THNK now has decided to settle down in our area. Westergasfabriek is a meeting place for creative, cultural and innovative entrepreneurs and people with disruptive and groundbreaking ideas. An institute like THNK therefore goes extremely well with the terrain.”
THNK was advised in this transaction by independent tenants advisor Solved. “Solved turned out to be the partner that matches the goals of THNK best.
