Afonso Mendonça Reis

I am a social development expert who currently works as an assistant professor in Lisbon at Nova School of Business and Economics. I also work with Mentes Empreendedoras (Entrepreneurial Minds) - a social enterprise fostering youth leadership and impact citizenship - which I founded and mentor at. For some time now I've had a focus on strategy and innovation mostly in education.

I am passionate about helping others understand themselves, to learn and thrive building on their talents and beliefs, and am continually learning to be able to improve myself. I believe that young leaders are who will shape the future and am excited to be involved with them. As such I've been involved with different organizations working in education, social project creation and management, content creation and employability, mostly with the focus on youth.

Deeply understanding the value of academia, I thrive on promoting impact with a social focus. I am fluent in 6 languages, and have traveled and worked in over 60 countries.
