Ever since I was 12, I dreamed about traveling the world, so after finishing secondary school, that’s what I did for half a year. I loved seeing new places every day, meeting new people and learning about different cultures, so when I came back, I decided to study Psychology to learn more about us human beings. I became specifically interested in communication and positive psychology and how it can be used to improve people’s lives, especially on the work floor. But because my biggest learnings were in the courses which thought me new things about myself, I did a Masters in Training & Development, with the goal of someday helping others to learn new things about themselves too.
At THNK, I am lucky enough to combine my love for planning and detail with learning more about human nature and self-development in my role as a Program Manager for both Custom Programs and the ELP. I greatly enjoy being surrounded by fascinating people with beautiful dreams for a better future and supporting the programs to help make those plans happen.
Next to THNK I freelance as a trainer in communication skills for medical students at both universities here in Amsterdam. And when I need more happiness in my day, I bake or cook, I like going on hiking holidays, love stories in either book or film form and always dream about new places to travel to, which I also really intend to visit one day.
