With a background in Psychology and Training and Development, I was drawn to THNK in 2017 to create learning journeys that focus not on what your teams can do for you, but what you as a leader can do for them. I want to work towards a world where we can all bring our full selves to the job, as I believe only then will we be able to do our best work, and I believe the role of our leaders is crucial in that. In my work at THNK I create learning journeys that allow people to gain insight into how they can lead authentically, find their 'why', and work according to their values.
How people communicate is one of my biggest interests. Driven by a wish to increase connections in the healthcare sector, before I joined THNK, I trained on 1-1 conversations, building rapport, difficult news conversations and dealing with emotions.
I’m a firm believer in that we learn most when we spend less time talking about something and more time doing it. This is one of the reasons I enjoy working at THNK, because the philosophy around learning is focussed on experience, reflection and application. A book you can read at home, lectures you can watch online, but the bonds you create with peers and the learnings that come from that is what makes our programs truly special.
When I’m not working, I like to be outside, learn to cook new plant-based dishes, read, and I love playing games or pub quizzes with friends.
