Annemarie van de Langenberg
Executive Leadership Program - Amsterdam Class 06
I studied International Business in Maastricht and Post Graduate Certified Controller in Amsterdam. I started working for Sara Lee on the Finance department, helped implementing The Sarbanes-Oxley Act worldwide and was Manager Business Control for the Meat Division.
In 2010 I joined C1000 as Project Controller for an Oracle Retail implementation and transformation program, and made the step into Manager of ICT Projects, responsible for a team of Project Managers. After the acquisition of C1000 by Jumbo Supermarkten in 2012, I implemented Project and Portfolio Management. Jumbo Supermarkten is a fast growing, family-owned food retailer. In the last decade Jumbo has transformed from a small regional company with 50 stores into a big national company with more than 600 stores and € 6.000M yearly turnover.
The increasing size makes social entrepreneurship more relevant for the company, its stakeholders and future generations. In 2013, I became Information Manager for the Marketing, Formula and Sales departments. In this role I translate business wishes into solid processes and applications.
I am passionate about people. I believe that bringing people and their talents together leads to the best sustainable results. I believe that ICT is transforming from enabler to driver of business innovation and as a result of that, the ICT department should play an important role in the yet to be developed innovation process of the company. Innovations that make Jumbo a “good” company from a sound financial and commercial perspective. From childhood onwards, I have always dreamed of using my talents and experience to “do good”. Now I want to translate this dream into reality within the context of a big retailer.
In my personal life, I love running, yoga, traveling with my husband and our two kids and also (once in a while) dancing at a party with friends.
