My experience and deep interests:

I grew up in a small town in the Netherlands, where I lived until I moved to Amsterdam to study Business Economics. I wrote my Master’s thesis at Deloitte, after which I started working at Deloitte's Financial Risk Management team over 11 years ago.

I love working at Deloitte, given the ambitious teams I work with to achieve a common goal and deliver value to our clients. Besides that, I like the diversity in our projects, allowing me to start something new regularly. I primarily work for banks, helping them to better understand the risks they face, covering all relevant risks, including emerging threats such as climate-related and environmental risks.

Outside work, I like spending time with my wife and our two daughters, with whom I live near Amsterdam. I like bringing the kids to school or playing with them during longer getaways like weekend breaks or holidays as well. Besides that, I get energised by endurance sports like cycling, running and swimming. My most significant achievement was crossing the finish line of the 2019 Hamburg Ironman. Finishing cyclos like La Marmotte and Les Trois Ballons were also fantastic. To prepare for these events, cycling or running with friends is one of the best ways to spend some spare time.
