I founded Lisbon’s municipal FabLab, leading a team to make it one of Lisbon’s most acclaimed open innovation laboratories. In an old factory setting in the center of Lisbon, this FabLab combines past and future ways of being a maker. Previously I worked as an independent designer developing projects individually with exhibitions all around Europe, which I still arrange, rather than conducting to leverage collective power; as such this new project is very much a process of trial and error.
Above all, my experience and development allow me to focus on ambition and consensus building. As an object designer I learned about the behavior of materials but was not tuned towards understanding the power of people's behavior. I am now keen on this growth, and am managing and conducting a team to increase the FabLab’s impact.
