During the last 20 years, I have guided, facilitated, and managed teams. For me, differences, resistance, and complexity are not obstacles, but rather the fuel for sustainable change. Within an organization, I look for all available qualities and match them with the intended personal and business objectives. As a result, employees can excel in what they do best.
With my company JustB, I create journeys in which strategy and policy regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion are translated into concrete action. I make sure space is created for uniqueness, while at the same time ensuring constructive communication, psychological safety, and genuine connection. I make use of systems theory, which means that I always work with the question: What is needed to make the entire system better? And how does Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion factor into this?
Inspired by the Ubuntu philosophy, I deeply believe the only way for us to create meaningful change is to make sure we can all participate and bring our full, unique selves to the collective. This explains my love for the topic of inclusion and why I am passionate about making sure there is room for all of us.
