Bettina is a body advocate. Her passion is to ignite one's connection to the intelligence and wisdom of the body.
She is a somatic leadership coach, movement facilitator and founder of Soulful Steps, an organization that designs programs to cultivate conscious and empowered living. She is a workshop leader, pioneer in the field of somatic intelligence and a public speaker.
Her work is grounded in holistic, somatic based modalities with a strong focus on the 5Rhythms, Gabrielle Roth's powerful movement form, mindfulness practices and embodied leadership principles.
Born and raised in Berlin, Germany, Bettina holds a degree in Psychology (Dipl.-Psych) from the Technical University of Berlin. For several years she worked as a Clinical Research Assistant with a special interest in Neurophysiology and Developmental Psychology.
Since 2008 Bettina has been involved in Leadership Development. She trained with Wendy Palmer as a Leadership Embodiment Coach and is an Associate of the Embodiment Foundation. As part of the Vancouver based collective Authentic Leadership Goal, Bettina is involved in designing programs for organizations and community groups on how to live and lead more authentically. Her emphasis is on supporting clients in the development of an authentic leadership presence that is powerful, compassionate and self-aware.
As a licensed 5Rhythms teacher Bettina has been facilitating workshops internationally since 1999 including retreats at Hollyhock.
