Boryana Boteva

I'm excited to be part of THNK on its mission to shape the future of leadership. Before joining, I was noticing more and more that leaders need to get better equipped to guide the way to successful long-term societal and business solutions, including empowering teams and coming up with non-conventional ways to solve a problem.

Born and raised in Bulgaria, I completed a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Finance. On the quest to experience the world and gain more forward-thinking knowledge of doing business I left for the USA. For 11 years I lived in California, Florida, and New York, where I continued building on education and professional experience in financial and business control, accounting, operations, client relations, human resources. In 2016, I moved to Amsterdam and I really enjoy the city and its vibe. My career started with big corporations and gradually transitioned towards the younger, agile, and state-of-the-art organizations. For the past four years, I've had leading finance-operations-HR roles at fast-growing innovative companies.

A guiding motive throughout my life has been exploration and what gives me energy is people, aesthetics, and active lifestyle. My connection to creativity is painting. Since I was a child I've been drawing and painting as a hobby and the highlight was my own art exhibit in Barcelona in 2014.
