Christina Williams
I was born in the US to a Bulgarian mother and American father. Both of my parents have PhDs from the University of Chicago, where I also got my undergraduate degree in Art History. My parents really valued education and always encouraged me to push myself intellectually. I adored school and even though I did not pursue a higher degree after university, I've always been perpetually eager to learn and better myself in my professional and personal life.
I'm driven by work that feels deeply meaningful to me and gives me a sense of purpose. I love working at THNK because I feel that I am part of an organization that aims to create a better set of leaders for the future, who in turn will help build a better world for all of us. I find that I am often cynical about the current state of affairs on our planet and working for an organization with such an optimistic goal is reassuring and also makes me feel that I am doing something valuable.
Fun fact: I was a competitive rhythmic gymnast growing up and used to dream of joining Cirque du Soleil. Sometimes, I still do.
