I'm a passionate producer and facilitator in the international field of visual storytelling. I regularly do curatorial and moderator stints and I'm on juries in the realm of documentary photography and the film industry and I teach multimedia workshops. I have an academic background in visual anthropology.
Currently, I work as senior video producer at the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong, supervising a small team, supporting the production of news and feature videos, and producing personal work across Asia.
I am a co-founder of NOOR, and was the international photo agency and foundation's first managing director. NOOR is known for creating and distributing compelling photojournalistic works with the aim to raise awareness, enhance an understanding of the world, and to contribute to the visual history of humankind.
Previous to founding NOOR in 2007, I worked for over six years at the World Press Photo Foundation – first in communications, and later as coordinator of educational and exhibition projects all over the world.
