I believe that businesses today need to be concerned with more than just profit. Investors and clients look at the ethical and social standards exhibited by a business when deciding whether to commit capital to the company. I have devoted my career to fostering these standards by matching corporate social responsibility initiatives with social causes. Being true to the values of CSR, is my passion to make the expertise of established companies more accessible to less experienced organizations and NGO’s, and to improve interaction with social entrepreneurs in emerging economies.
My obsession with building stronger communities is a result of 15 years of professional experience in communications, marketing, project management, and events spanning the diverse industries of finance, games, entertainment and media. In 2015, I co-founded SPONSORT, a crowdfunding company that creates corporate social responsibility campaigns in order to fund innovative projects by local people. It is my goal to expand the social impact that companies have on their local environment and to improve the evaluation methods in CSR that are still not sufficiently applicable.
My endeavour at THNK is to scale the SPONSORT work and impact and to expand its mentoring program to have a much wider audience of social entrepreneurs through their stories and experience. I want to grow the Sozialmotor program reach without losing the intimacy of its current set up. I’d love to get the tools and know how from the THNK executive leadership program.
