I started my working life at Accenture, where I pretty soon discovered that what makes the difference in an organization is the people. I furthered discovered the world of change management, leadership development and organizational culture when I moved to PwC, 13 years later, where I led the Dutch People & Organization Consulting practice and contributed to PwC’s sustainability initiatives.
One of the learnings that stands out in my consulting career so far is the importance of the role of leaders in this world. My true belief is that they are the key to make the world a better place. That is why I am proud to be part of THNK where we focus on growing responsible leaders and organizations. Because we need the leaders of corporates, NGOs, governments and all other types of organizations to be conscious of who they are and how they can make a difference.
From a personal point of view, I love being outside and being grateful for what nature provides us with. Probably infused by my upbringing in the French countryside, I love mountains, biking and hiking but also cooking and eating good food, tasting good wines and dancing! I am also a bit of a nerd, having studied Applied Physics; I like number crunching, things that make sense or figuring out how they can make sense.
I live in Amsterdam together with Frits, who is an entrepreneur in sustainability, and our two sons, Sam and Mats. Our daughter, Lara, studies Clinical Technology in Delft.
