I was the leader of Association of Environmental Protection for 5 years. During my time at university I volunteered in an institution helping teenage mothers getting back on their feet. One of my passions is getting people connected with project development and networking purposes. I am very enthusiastic about developing and implementing projects, in order to promote new ideas and introducing changes that will empower and increase my own skills, as well as those from others around me.
I hold a PhD in Sociology from the University of PARIS 5 – René Descartes – Sorbonne – Paris 5 and ISCTE-IUL and a Master’s Degree in Culture and Social Behaviors from University of PARIS 5 – Sorbonne.
I am a Researcher at DinamicaCet, as well as advisor to Social Action and Health Department at Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa (SCML) and develop several activities, such as research studies about childhood and aging. I am currently, the scientific coordinator of one of SCML’s international projects – SIforAge “Social Innovation for Active and Healthy Ageing” – and a member of the scientific committee for the United At Work project.
