Ginés Haro Pastor
Executive Leadership Program - Amsterdam Class 01
I was referred to THNK by Ben Keene.
I am a public speaker and an award-winning social entrepreneur. I founded his first social enterprise when I was just 10 years old, having started projects in three countries. I am also part of Net Impact and Unltd - the world´s largest network of support for social entrepreneurs. After working on creating the world´s biggest online network for social entrepreneurs for The Guardian News & Media, I have returned to my hometown in Andalucía, the south of Spain, a region with the highest unemployment rate in the EU.
Through my work, I have become an advocate for social entrepreneurship and innovation with a focus in Spanish speaking countries. I'm currently involved in supporting and developing social innovation ecosystems, combining my international experience with a local insider's perspective.
I have just launched my last project, Yahora, offering the 1st MOOC on employability and career education in Spanish, partnering with UNED, the biggest Spanish speaking university in the world.
I am passionate about how online technologies could foster and support change-makers and make an impact.
