Born in Ireland my parents are farmers which probably explains why I love being outside a lot!
I live in Dublin and about to start building a new home on the foothills of the Dublin mountains (the perfect mix of city and countryside). Any advice and help most welcome!
I'm a ‘marketing gun’. It's been all I’ve ever really wanted to do. Secretly delighted by how broad and misunderstood the term marketing actually is. I believe in the power of marketing and the importance of purpose and brand.
I currently lead the marketing function of Bank of Ireland. A role that has provided great opportunity to grow and develop as the organisation and our country has had to rebuild in the last few years.
Spent a lot of the last number of years in financial services. Prior to that, I worked in Luxury Goods with Waterford Wedgwood.
A favourite recent book is ‘Solve for Happy’ by Mo Gawdat the Chief Business Officer at Google X. Worth a read if you haven't done so already.
I enjoy gym 3 times a week (most weeks). I thrive on positive energy and love to break and rebuild. Being a recent convert to ‘design thinking’ I’m fascinated by just how fast the world is changing. As a parent, I’m concerned but feel we are standing at the crossroads of a hugely important time.
The quest for real purpose is something the organisations, communities and individuals constantly strive.
