Joost Baggel

My name is Joost Baggel, born and raised in the Netherlands, husband to Sien and father to Cato. I have lived in Amsterdam for the past 20 years and have worked for ABN AMRO Bank in various roles for the same period. I have come to realize that collaboration between companies and the sharing of ideas and co-creating can be so powerful. In different procurement and supplier management – and more generic leadership – roles I have been able to create, stimulate and foster new ideas and sustainable changes. Why should we try to come up with all solutions ourselves?

I am passionate about regenerative and decentralized business models and am looking to actively contribute to furthering Amsterdam's plans towards a Donut Economy. I tremendously enjoyed THRIVE Class 2 and am sure I will continue on the path together with my classmates.
