Justin Leavenworth
Executive Leadership Program - Amsterdam Class 07
I co-founded Global Arena; a language services, strategic consulting and global management solution company. Over a ten-year period, I worked with Fortune 500 companies to develop culturally appropriate messaging and branding.
For the last ten years I have developed two national grass-fed beef brands in the US. From 2005 to 2009, a Chilean grass-fed beef program, “it’s the grass!”, that sold nationally through Whole Foods Market, and from 2011 to 2014, Ranchers Original, a Montana based grass-fed beef program.
I also established a not-for-profit consulting and venture capital company to support pasture-based sustainable food producers by providing producers capital, business tools and guidance to help develop their business skills and to secure traditional capital to grow their businesses.
Currently, I live in Amsterdam and have founded a food technology company that is focused on helping consumers make better-informed food purchases and reducing food waste.
I was born in Mexico City, Mexico and hold American, Swiss and Mexican passports. I earned a Bachelors degree from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY in Linguistics and Cultural Anthropology. I have also been a guest lecturer at University of Pennsylvania, Fox School of Business, and a consultant for The Foreign Policy Research Institute’s Center for Terror, Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security.
