Madeleine Shaw
Executive Leadership Program - Vancouver Class 01
I am an eco-feminist entrepreneur and writer based on unceded Coast Salish territory (Vancouver Canada). I am passionate about creatively deploying the tools of business in service of social change, drawing inspiration from natural growth patterns as ways to build regenerative organizations.
Professionally, I am co-founder and currently serving as Director of Partnership and Impact at Aisle (formerly Lunapads), one of the first groundbreaking ventures in the world to commercialize reusable menstrual products. I have also founded two non-profit ventures, G Day, a rite of passage event series for girls and their supporters, and Nestworks, a family-friendly coworking community.
In my book, The Greater Good: Social Entrepreneurship for Everyday People Who Want to Change the World, I offer encouraging tips and reflections for aspiring impact-based entrepreneurs. I am also a Medium contributor with particular interest in exploring topics related to alcohol culture, addiction, sobriety and recovery.
