I have the drive to motivate people to live a more active, less stressful life and prevent disease. I am passionate about how technology, behavioral change, and games can improve health and healthcare.

I am the Co-Founder of RespiQ, a new and affordable technology that can provide insights into your health by detecting multiple disease biomarkers in your breath, using a handheld device that can be used at home. We are starting with enabling healthy people detect if they have a food intolerance, conveniently at home using a simple test, enabling them to create a personalized diet that works for them, giving them more energy. This breath test is scientifically proven and currently being used in top hospitals. Over time, we aim to give our users additional health insights using the same RespiQ technology, building on the clinical evidence from the breath diagnostics research community.

Another project I worked on recently was in a digital health business in Philips offering medical-grade personalized behavior change programs for chronic disease prevention combining connected health measurement devices with cloud-based analytics and mobile apps. Before that, I worked as an entrepreneur for several startups (e.g. co-founder The Upside Club, CFO for Spotzer, marketing director for TEDxAmsterdam Education, etc.), and independent consultant for corporates in the health and wellness, digital media, and technology industry.

I am a health entrepreneur, strategy consultant (ex-McKinsey), and ex-gymnast (competed on an international level). I hold a Master of Science in Medical Biology and Media Technology. Apart from yoga, healthy food, and traveling, I love to perform as an acrobat.
