Mwihaki Muraguri

I am an experienced Kenyan professional who has built a career in the areas of health, development, and philanthropy. With a personal philosophy of excellence, integrity and pursuing social justice, my professional pursuits strongly mirror my personal attributes. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to serve in varied institutions across the private and non-profit sector including AMREF, the KCB Foundation, and the Rockefeller Foundation which helped build strong competencies in planning and project management, strategy, communications and team management. An excellent communicator and insightful professional, I have represented various institutions in several regional and international fora.

I am currently running Paukwa Storyhouse, a firm dedicated to bringing to using the art of storytelling to celebrate and spotlight the positive aspects of Kenyan history and contemporary life. Additionally, I work emphatically at my chosen life-long roles of bringing up three young Kenyans and being married to a successful entrepreneurial techie.

During the THNK Executive Leadership Program, my Endeavor is to finalize the conceptualization and design of a storytelling platform that will work with Kenyan children to encourage them to reimagine their future identities around positive role models.
