Originally from Egypt, I moved to the Netherlands in 2019 and love every minute of it! I grew up in a family that valued the educational process and fostered curiosity. As a result, I earned my bachelor’s degree double majoring in political science and journalism. Soon after graduating, I began working in different organizations that focused on youth development and capacity building. In 2019 I began my master’s in public policy with a specialization in social and environmental policy. Whilst doing my master’s degree I pursued two internships in TNI think tank and RNW Media, delving myself into research and civic education. My spare time is mainly spent between my passion for reading and my family. I enjoy baking and trying out new recipes. Sitting by the sea naturally runs in my blood and it’s the one thing that always brings me peace and serenity.
