Paulo Garnel

I am very open, sociable, joyful, loyal, and passionate about my work, meeting new people, and having new experiences. I have worked for several years in the Banking and Insurance sector, in areas like Retail Banking, Real Estate Mortgages, Marketing, Project Analysis, Bancassurance, International Relations, and Institutional Representation.

During this time, I managed several teams and projects, opened and managed an Office in Brussels, coordinated several bank and insurance departments, created new products and planned their marketing strategy, built several sales team, established objectives and incentives, mentored and organized several events. About 3 years ago, I decided that it was time for me to pursue my dream of creating products and/or services that would improve people's wellbeing. My three main areas of choice are Health and Wellbeing, Urban Mobility and Education.

For the past two years, I have been working with a new technology that collects huge amounts of data from cars, in real time. Among other things this technology enables, crash and breakdown detection, remote diagnostics, driver-behavior analysis, fleet management, fuel efficiency analysis, and teenager supervision. This very disruptive technology has the ability to significantly improve road safety, lower operating costs, and to reshape industries and the way we manage and use our cars. This technology is very useful for several areas like Insurance, Leasing, Rent a Car, Road Assistance, Fleet Management or any company or individual that owns or uses a car.

I am just a simple person with great aspirations, looking to make a difference and change for the better in the way we do things. I enjoy running, traditional yoga, travelling, photography, gadgets, cinema, comics, and video games very much.
