Robert Overweg
I have a diverse background in art, design, and tech, with over 10 years of experience in innovation with companies like Vodafone, Heineken, eBay, Liberty Global, and a variety of startups, through my work with tech company Triple.
Through this work, I saw that many people in corporate environments were stuck in their thinking and had little engagement with work. At the same time, I saw that higher education was not delivering the right up-to-date skills.
What do people need? >> The skills to adapt to changing circumstances, the ability to learn and adapt on their own and together with their teams.
The insights gathered during this journey inspired me to develop the Adaptable Mindset program, which helps people to cultivate the freedom to think and to create. The program has been applied at places like Chanel, Vueling, Synthesis (school of Elon Musk), Techgrounds, Codam, and the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
I also gave lectures at MIT, SXSW, the European Commission, and as an artist, I exhibited at the Centre Pompidou and the Media biennial in Seoul. It’s been a fun run – empowering people and companies in being able to adapt.
