I grew up in Romania, a country I hope everyone gets to visit at least once. I’ve finished a BA in Political Science and MA in Intercultural Management. These degrees have reinforced my belief that studying historical changes is crucial to connecting the dots to present-day global challenges.
I moved to Amsterdam in 2015 and later joined the People & Culture team at THNK in 2023. My responsibility is to contribute to a culture where people can do their best work. I opted for this career path because it aligns with my passion for continuous learning and growth.
I enjoy spending time with my four-year-old son after work. He’s a testament to the mind’s fantastic ability to absorb. His favorite question is “Why?” which makes learning second nature, done without a conscious effort. It's incredible to realize that children's play is actually their work. This brings to mind Alan Watts' perspective on work - to be completely engaged with what we’re doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it “work”, realize it’s play.
