I was referred to THNK by Reema Al Olaimy.
I am passionate about the built environment and am driven by sustainable development. I am the founder and managing director of UAE-based Medina Works (MW), a boutique sustainability consultancy crafting context-relevant, high-impact solutions for cities. MW has multiple-focus addressing three main catalysts of the City: the built environment, the human capital and organizations. My organization offers strategic and technical advisory services ranging from policy advice, design, program development and implementation to capacity building and entrepreneurship.
I am also the founder of Cogite, the first co-working space in Tunis: a social enterprise offering impact-driven individuals and organizations an affordable, yet inspiring place to meet, work and co-create positive impacts. Additionally, I am active in the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC) network. I am a founding member of the Tunisia Green Building Council and a consultant for WorldGBC focused on capacity development of GBCs in Middle East and North Africa.
I am a sustainability expert and hold a Master of Applied Science degree in Building Engineering from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. I also hold a Masters of Civil and Urban Planning Engineering from INSA Lyon (France) and a Diploma in Initial Studies in Architecture from the School of Architecture of Lyon (France).
I am a global nomad currently living between Istanbul, Tunis and Dubai. I am the mother of two lovely boys.
