Born and raised in the north of Vietnam, I came to the Netherlands to pursue a degree in Communication and Media at Erasmus University Rotterdam. I have been living in Rotterdam ever since and I have grown to particularly enjoy this city's young and vibrant culture. Prior to my arrival in the Netherlands, I have always been fascinated by aesthetic visuals, the dynamic of advertising, and creative arts. That is one of the reasons why I chose to follow a degree in media in the first place. This fascination with aesthetic visuals has brought me into adopting many new creative hobbies like photography or videography. I started experimenting with design software like Photoshop and Premiere, which later on become an essential part of my daily work.
At first, building videos and creating aesthetic arts was just a hobby that I do in my free time. But in the second year of my degree, I decided to take my chance and apply for more creative positions that are still related to my study. I wanted to give it a try to see whether I could turn my hobby into something I could do professionally. So THNK took me in and gave me an internship position as a multimedia producer intern. The four-month experience working at THNK has given me so many opportunities. After the internship, I knew that I could find a job where I could learn and have lots of fun at the same time. Thankfully, THNK decided to keep me for a little bit longer, and now I'm continuing my journey of exploring new possibilities, producing creative media content, and constantly learning new insights from my manager and colleagues.
In my free time, I often try to explore new creative hobbies like crafting pottery, drawing, or reading more books to expand my knowledge on the current field that I am pursuing. I am always up for new experiences and projects, so if there is anything related to designing, video-making, podcast producing, or whatever brilliant creative ideas that you have in mind, do contact me if you need a hand.
