Silvia Cid

I am a dentist, specialized in the field of functional dentistry, occlusion and temporomandibular disorders, working on scientific research of the Medical University of Vienna. As a self-employed dentist, I am the shaper of my own working environment, approaching and assessing the patients as complex systems with professionals of different fields; for which I speak 6 languages daily, due to the cultural diversity of Luxembourg.

People fascinate me, their potential, complexity and diversity. These intricacies motivate me to understand how to better work with others, encourage and empower them, how I come across, share visions and passions for a better future. Interdisciplinarity is thus something I feel I need to be challenged and to develop, and while it’s sometimes hard to imbue in my day-to-day, it’s a source of energy to me.

I'm an empathic, passionate, highly curious person and as such am always researching, rediscovering, questioning and finding new things. I am continually unsatisfied and am driven to improve the world; now looking for the vision that will match my ambition.
