Susy Silva

I am a Strategy & Project Manager for Lisbon’s cultural and creative cluster, and have worked in the Lisbon City Council for 18 years. Born in Canada to Portuguese parents, I came to Portugal young and fell in love with the sun, sea, the wild beaches and the local farmers and fishermen. The multicultural upbringing with strong freedom of speech have become ingrained values.

I am a multitasker, practical, strong willed, always looking for the best ways to solve challenges and now learning to appreciate also the small things in my life. Adventure and striving to improve is in my DNA. I am working on my personal growth towards creating a context in which my two sons may prosper - after all, the way I see is: a smooth sea never made a skillful sailor.
