Executive Leadership Program - Amsterdam Class 12
The transition from the USSR to capitalism was a painful process, but it taught me the importance of adapting to change. I realized that there are those who simply adapt and live, those who assert their rights, and those who freeze and live as if the surrounding events were just a change in weather. I chose to adapt and thrive, and it led me to explore the world beyond my home country.
Traveling to the Netherlands for the first time in 1999 was a life-changing experience for me. I saw the Netherlands with guilders, Paris with the Eiffel Tower, and nighttime Brussels, where the hostel was a mix of cultures for students from a dozen different countries and continents. I felt the excitement of being part of a global community and wanted to contribute to it.
As an artist and entrepreneur, I have founded a word-of-mouth marketing agency, Buzzaar.eu. Our client roster includes major brands, and we have expanded our operations to 15 countries. The world of international business is fascinating to me, as it provides opportunities for travel, cultural exploration, and overcoming unique challenges that are specific to each local market.
Now, I have embarked on a new venture with Teleport, a travel company specializing in destinations not found on any maps. It's an exciting opportunity to explore new ways of thinking and achieving success. Some clients like to time travel to the past or the future. Live a favorite book or film. Relive the greatest moments of childhood. Experience a completely different life. I believe that the key to success is to never stop learning and adapting, to be open to new ideas and perspectives, and to embrace the challenges that come with growth.
In addition to my professional pursuits, I attend an improvisation courses in Amsterdam and Denmark. This experience has given me much more than just a sense of humor. Improvisation has taught me how to think on my feet, be present at the moment, and let go of preconceived notions. These skills have proven invaluable in both my personal and professional life.
My core value is freedom, and I strive to infuse this value into every aspect of my work, company, and team. I believe everyone can work in an environment that promotes a sense of freedom, and conduct business with joy and fun. I am eager to share my ideas and experiences with other entrepreneurs, and those who are considering starting a business or exploring new ways of working.
In conclusion, I encourage you to embrace change, stay resilient, and always be willing to learn and adapt. Whether you are an entrepreneur or someone seeking personal growth, remember that freedom and joy are possible in every aspect of your life.
