My experience and deep interests:
I am based in: Amsterdam

I was referred to THNK by Bertha French.

I have over 20 years of experience in supporting marginalized groups and communities in developing countries, as well as in Chicago and in the Netherlands, my home country. I have designed and delivered several programs that focus on the empowerment, participation and representation of minority groups in mainstream society. Furthermore, I have also been instrumental in securing millions of euros to finance social justice programs and activities.

I hold a BA in Communication and a pre-master certificate in Public Policy. I have served on several volunteer boards and city committees in the art, culture, film and media sectors in the Netherlands. In early 2014, I took a fundraising position at ActionAid; an international development organization, and volunteer at several local initiatives that seek to promote social cohesion in Amsterdam.

My interests and work cut across the intersections of the arts, culture, communication and social justice. I have an endless fascination for language, communication and interaction between social groups. Being an avid learner, I am always on the look out for new models and techniques on how individuals and groups can better relate to each other. I look forward to exploring innovative ways to enhance a sense of community through social interventions in a metropolitan area.
